Here is our curriculum intent for Science
In Science at Elmwood, our children are encouraged to be naturally curious about the world around them. They are given the vital knowledge and skills they need through enriching learning experiences, whilst equipping them with the personal characteristics they need to be successful in life. Within Science, they embrace their sense of wonder about natural phenomena and are guided into becoming enquiry-based learners who can be excellent communicators while they are immersed in vibrant experiences. This allows each of them to express themselves as an individual as well as exploring the wider world which helps them understand the uses and implications of Science, how it has changed and shaped our lives and how vital it is to the world’s future prosperity.
