Please read below our most recent Ofsted report.

On the 25th June 2018 we had our Ofsted inspection and are extremely pleased to announce that we remain a GOOD school.

The inspector wrote:

"It is very evident that pupils enjoy coming to school."

"The school's mentoring programme lies at the very heart of the caring ethos of the school."

"Staff have created a culture in which pupils feel safe."

Please look at the full report below.

We have also received our Green Flag Award - thank you to all our children, especially our ECO Club, for helping to keep our school free from litter and helping to save energy! The Eco Club have raised money by organising a Fair Trade Coffee morning. They have also taken part in the Big Bird Watch and improved the school grounds for wildlife and us by planting and litter picking, They have taken part in Switch Off Fortnight and Park and Stride - well done to everyone who has helped!

Last year we have also received our Healthy Schools Award - a big thank you goes to parents for supporting us in this by not sending in sweets with your children for birthdays etc.

We are also delighted to have received our Basic Skills Quality Mark Award. This award lasts for 3 years. The Primary Quality Mark provides a framework for self-evaluation and continuous improvement of the basic skills all pupils in a school. This includes both those who under-achieve and those whose attainment is lower than would be expected of someone of their age.

The Assessor reported that:

"Teaching is enhanced by the high quality of the learning environments. Classrooms are very well equipped and abounding with support for reading, writing and mathematics."
